Good representation

Nicely done version of the board game. the interface works well and the game doesnt crash. the tutorial is helpful, too. My only suggestion would be to add some animation to the AI actions so you can more easily tell what they are doing.

Solid game

The game itself is great, and this implementation is pretty smooth, isnt buggy, and has good AI. The only drawback is the visual design. Its a little clunky as they tried to maintain too many elements of the board games layout and components, so the screen gets really busy. Its too late for a redesign, but I would look to Agricola and Stone Age as examples of how complex board games can be implemented in iOS, preserving gameplay but utilizing the strengths of this medium.

Finally got interested enough to play

Ive owned this game a long time, but never knew how to play. The tutorial is a bit boring, but otherwise I really enjoyed playing. Im now ready to crush my brother at this app.

Graphics need work

The graphics and layout are pretty terrible. Would suggest only getting this game if you already know how to play. Its impossible to pickup just by playing the in game tutorial.

Very good!

Excellent representation of the boardgame.

Not working on newest iOS

This is my favorite board game / euro game, and the only game I have purchased for the iPad. How disappointing, then, when I recently tried to open it up and it does not work! It goes to splash/title screen, and will allow selection of menu options for about 3 seconds, after which it automatically shuts down every time. This is on iPad 2 running iOS 7.1.1

Expansion Please!

Please add more special buildings and the promos. Love this game!

Game - 5 tutorial - 4

Ive really enjoyed learning to play this game. Ive only played against the computer, but that has worked out just fine. I highly recommend the game. For the most part, the tutorial is really good and helps tremendously with the game. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is the same as another commenter. It would be extremely helpful if the tutorial also gave the specific items and the specific numbers for certain things that it suggests. If it tells me to use the shipping line, then please tell me how many and what to ship. Sometimes it isnt so obvious to us newbies to the game. Spend the few dollars for the game. So worth it.

Good game

I like the game and play it a lot. Ive played the actual boardgame multiple time so I didnt need the tutorial but I can see that it would be hard to pick up the game here. Main reason for only 4 stars font is too small, especially when trying to read the number on the building card to know which will be moved to town next.

Great replay value

Yes, it is a very complex game. This results in numerous paths to winning and makes each game different (within limits). Takes time to master. If one seeks quick and easy, look elsewhere. Great game!

Great App! Just like the board game!

Worth the money! Especially if you are playing on a screen bigger than the 4s. Great game!

Le havre

This is the best strategy game ever. Nice adaptation to iPad!

Any chance of Le Grand Hameau?

Excellent go-to board game app rendition, play it all the time! Would be awesome to see the expansion!

Bug in the feeding screen

Great game, but bad app. In my first game, it froze on the first feeding screen at the end of the first turn. On my second, it didnt freeze but the numbers in the slide bar were nonfunctional.

Great game

This is a fun, challenging game and is implemented well. Great asynchronous online. Faithfully created from one of the greatest board games.

Excellent Game!

Made even better with the nice tutorial and animations!

Just like the cardboard version

Le Havre please very well in regards to the cardboard version of the game. Game makes setup a breeze. But the only issue is cramped space and not being able to see all the opponents cards in buildings. Otherwise the electronic version of Le Havre does very well at simulating the original version of the game The best part of what the program does well is it allows back out of turns when a mistake is made

Great port of euro to ios

They took a great Euro boardgame and created a great port to iOS. The AI is a bit weak though, but still fun to puzzle out a victory.

Great Strategy Game

Great version of a good board game. I like the app better than the cardboard. The AI is good

Excellent game

Fantastic implementation of the board game. I agree with others that it could be even better with moremhints for beginners.
